In all the scriptures, it is clearly established that the cause of our suffering is due to forgetfulness of our relationship with God. But currently we have either wrong understanding or no understanding about God or even Religion. Srila Prabhupada, my spiritual teacher used to say, if we have got wrong understanding about God or Religion then we should not abandon God or Religion; instead we should work towards getting the right understanding, just like if we have cataract in our eyes, we ask the doctor to remove the cataract and not the eyes!! You will be happy." This is Kṛṣṇa consciousness movement.
